2016 Ice Land runs the entire month of December 2016 and is an under water experience like no other. It will enthrall your entire family for many hours. Experience gigantic Ice Sculptures that depict a Tropical Christmas from a different point of view. This extravaganza will be at Moody Gardens within a 28,000 square foot tent. It will be insulated and chilled to nine degrees. That’s cold so come prepared and dress appropriately. Wear warm clothes so you can stay all day. The kids will really thank you for dressing them warmly because they will not want to leave early because they are cold. It’s just that much fun!
Dickens on the Strand returns once again to Galveston Friday December 2nd thru Sunday December 4th. This truly unique and historic event features parades, bands, food, and Victorian Era costumed participants and attendees. Named for Charles Dickens and 19th Century London, Galveston for one week-end a year transforms itself back in time. You will see terrific costumes to be sure. The kids will have a blast and so will their parents and grand parents.
Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens also runs the entire month of December 2016. Bigger and Better than ever, your family will see and enjoy Christmas and Holiday lights that seem endless.
