Travel in the comfort of a climate-controlled custom tour bus as your tour covers Seawall Blvd where we provide live narration of the history of Galveston Island and the City of Galveston including Galveston’s heyday as the Wall Street of the Southwest, the Great Storm of 1900, the building of Seawall Blvd, and the grade-raising of the Island; then you will see the mansions of Broadway Ave; the 19th century Victorian homes and tree sculptures of the East End Historic District; Pier 21 amusement attractions; Historic Strand District with its shopping, museums, and restaurants; the art galleries, cafes and night life of Post Office StreetThe Grand 1894 Opera House; the Historic Downtown District; and the Silk Stocking Historic District, and more!

During the tours, you will learn about over 30 entertainment attractions and hear interesting stories about Galveston Island’s unique history.


The East End Historic Tour loads near the intersection of 25th & Seawall Blvd on the beach-side of Seawall Blvd and to the left of the Galveston Historic Pleasure Pier, if you are facing the water. Parking is available along the seawall or next to the Fish Tales restaurant at the intersection of 25th & Seawall Blvd.

Complimentary Pickup and Dropoff at the Galveston Visitor Center

We are pleased to announce that we now offer complimentary pickup and dropoff for our East End Historic Tours at the Galveston Visitor Center at 23rd & Broadway Ave. There is free parking in the parking lot behind the Visitor Center and on the streets adjacent to the Visitor Center. Pickup times at the Visitor Center are 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time, e.g. for the 2:00 tour, we pick up at the Visitor Center at 1:30.

The times shown below are Departure times from the Seawall loading location. We begin loading at our location on Seawall Blvd 15 minutes prior to departure.

  • Summer Schedule: Memorial Day to September 2 – open Daily – 10:00, 11:30, 2:00, 3:30
  • Labor Day to Memorial Day – open Tuesday thru Saturday – 2:00, 3:30; closed Sunday and Monday

Same-Day Ticket Sales: Same-day tickets sales are on a first-come first-serve basis. Tickets can be purchased on the day of the tour at the bus at our loading location at 25th & Seawall Blvd.

Advanced Reservations: Advanced reservations can be made at least 24 hours in advance by calling 409-539-5374. ALL ADVANCED RESERVATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If you do not arrive at the loading location to secure your reserved tickets at least 15 minutes prior to tour time, your reservations will be cancelled and not refunded. 

Private Tours: Our tour buses are available for private tours. Each tour bus holds up to 22 passengers. Call 409-539-5374 and we will be happy to discuss our custom tour options.

Group Discounts: For groups of 6 or more, we offer $1 off each ticket for the Historic Tour.
